Vision Strikers have become the latest VALORANT team to go with a six-man roster, with Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul and Kim “babo” Myeong-kwan having been signed. The duo arrive ahead of the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin. The news comes just a matter of days after Kim “glow” Min-soo was released.

BuZz most recently played for Rio Company, having previously competed under the banner of Cloud9 Korea, BearClaw Gaming and Team MUYAHO. Meanwhile, compatriot babo is a former TUBEPLE Gaming player, with the arrival of the duo having been broken on Twitter. The team posted: “Please welcome @Buzz_kr and @MaKoVlrt to Vision Strikers! Welcome to the new faces of Vision Strikers, BuZz and MaKo!”

How the Duo Made Their Name in the VALORANT Scene

BaBo has recently requested that he be known as “MaKo” for future events. Alongside BuZz, the teenage duo are rated as some of the most promising players in the region, as a result of their ratings and K/D’s . They have both competed in the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Two Challengers. BaBo finished 5th-8th with TUBEPLE Gaming, while BuZz came in 3rd-4th with Rio.

Both players are best known for their skills with Jett and Raze, however they also have the capabilities to fulfill support roles with Sage. We will have to wait until Vision Strikers return to action to see how the duo are utilized. They will team up with existing players Lee “K1Ng” Seung-won, Goo “Rb” Sang-Min, Kim “stax” Gu-taek and Kim “Zest” Gi-seok.

Can the New Arrivals Help Vision Strikers Fulfill Their Potential?

Vision Strikers will be looking to rediscover their best form ahead of the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin, which takes place in September. It remains to be seen as to how they will use their six-man roster. However, the arrivals of BuZz and babo has already been viewed as a positive for fans of the team. The team won the VCT 2021: Korea Stage 1 Masters back in March, demonstrating their potential.
