TSM launches VALORANT Academy roster. TSM has announced its new VALORANT Academy roster, with the team featuring the ex-Noble lineup, as well as Carlo “Dcop” Delsol. The organization has been working on its academy operation for a while now, in order to add to its options in the professional VALORANT scene. It is understood that that Team Seal roster was also considered by TSM, before the Noble lineup was chosen.

Many players would have been interested in competing for an org of TSM’s size, especially given the potential of representing their main roster one day. However, their academy roster will be made up by Nathaniel “payen” Lopez, Colin “Precision” O’Neill, Brandon “bdog” Sanders and Timothy “ZK” Ly, with the former Noble pro’s being joined by Dcop, who last played under the banner of ez5.

Why TSM & Noble have strong ties

Meanwhile, Andrew “aRubyz” Seewer and Austin “Apex” Copeland will be in charge of coaching the team, having also made the switch from Noble. TSM and Noble have history, with Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya having played for the main TSM roster at VCT Stage Three, having joined the team at the end of July.

It could well be that he competes with his former teammates in the future, with the TSM Academy acting as backup to the main roster. With the org having failed to qualify for the Masters Three Berlin, their main roster will be forced to watch the international VALORANT tournament from the sidelines.

The TSM VALORANT Academy will be unable to compete in any VCT events. A statement from Riot Games read: “Teams may not own two teams at once in VCT, unless one of those two teams is a women’s team.”

When will we see the TSM Academy line-up in action?

Meanwhile, we will see how the TSM Academy debuts when they take on Cloud9 Blue at the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship on Friday, with the match getting underway at 2pm CT. The main TSM VALORANT roster is made up by James “hazed” Cobb, Matthew “WARDELL” Yu, Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, Sean “bang” Bezerra and LeviathanAG.

TSM are currently ranked 7th in the North American VALORANT rankings, behind the likes of Cloud9 Blue, FaZe Clan and XSET. They won the VCT North America Stage 3: Challenger 2, defeating Gen.G, T1 and Luminosity along the way, before overcoming FaZe Clan in the grand final.

We are really excited to see how the Academy line-up is going to perform in the future.
