With just a matter of days now remaining until the beginning of the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Threee, T1 has announced that Braxton “brax” Pierce has returned to their starting lineup. Along with the return of brax, youngster Anthony “dawn” Hagopian has been temporarily promoted from the organization’s academy roster.

Speaking on the announcement, David Denis, T1 coach, stated that in-game leader Sam “DaZeD” Marine had left the organization. The Veteran American had a difference in “vision” with Denis, with the former CS:GO pro having now become a free agent. In what has been a busy period for T1, with Ha “Spyder” Jung-woo currently taking time away from competing in order to overcome an injury.

Why brax has been brought back to the T1 lineup

Brax will now compete for T1 for the second time, with all parties undoubtedly hoping that things pan out better than before. Speaking on brax’s first sting, Denis stated that “it wasn’t a good fit at the time”, however it is understood that he is now confident that brax can have a major impact on the team.

Meanwhile, Denis has described Dawn as a “top level talent”, with fans of T1 being excited to see what the youngster can bring. Responding to T1’s announcement on Twitter, Dawn posted “Let’s get it. Time to own”. In terms of how the T1 VALORANT roster now looks, Rahul “Curry” Nemani will take up the in-game leader role, because of his “aggressive and dynamic” tendencies.

Who Else Features on the New Look T1 VALORANT Roster?

Elsewhere, Tyler “skadoodle” Latham and Timothy “autimatic” Ta will make up the remainder of the lineup, with Denis having talked up the duo as part of an announcement video. T1 have failed to live up to expectations in the first two stages of the VALORANT Champions Tour, having only managed two Challengers main event appearances. They were knocked out early on in both occasions, however they should be confident given recent roster changes.

The VCT NA Challengers One qualifiers begin on July 1, with T1 hoping to make it through to the Masters or Champions.
