Brawk to trial for Complexity VALORANT Line-up. Brock “brawk” Somerhalder is set to trial for North American Esports organization Complexity, with the SoaR pro being considered as a replacement for Magno “Pr0phie” Ramos on their VALORANT roster.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the org is also considering Kevin “mina” Nguyen for the position. The reports came from Upcomer over the weekend, following the departure of Pr0phie, who competed for Complexity for four months. Having joined on trial, brawk is set to feature for Complexity at the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship, which gets underway on Thursday.

When will brawk line up in Complexity colors?

The event will feature the likes of Evil Geniuses, Built By Gamers, Dark Zero and Rise, with the $20,000 prize fund having attracted some of the leading rosters in North America. For those wondering, the tournament runs separately to the VALORANT Champions Tour from Riot Games, which is its own league.

Pressure is mounting on Complexity, with the org having failed to reach the VCT Stage 3 Challengers 2. A defeat against Cloud9 Blue in the Round of 16 was costly, despite victories against Karma and Evil Geniuses previously. In their encounter with Cloud9 Blue, Pr0phie actually finished with the highest average combat score, with 201 on Sova.

Why Complexity are trialing brawk

Meanwhile, current trialist brawk missed out on the event with SoaR. SoaR were eliminated by Knights at the Round of 32 stage, however brawk has consistently been a good performer for the team in the second tier of the North American scene. Over the last three months, brawk averaged 1.25 kills/deaths on Sova, which was his most played agent.

Speaking on a recent stream, Complexity CEO, Jason Lake stated that he “doesn’t know what the future holds”, however he has “confidence” in Riot Games in creating a successful Esport. The Complexity roster will feature brawk, Michael “agM” Abood, Joel “jcrueL” Cruel, Jacob “valyn” Batio and Riley “ohai” Nguyen.

It has been a period of transition for Complexity, with Canadian Jonah “JonahP” Pulice having departed for Immortals back in June, before Pr0phie rejoined as an official signing later in the month. But after complexity will complete their period of transition there is a big chance they can once again aim for top tier placements in Valorant.
