AndBox reportedly closing in on Thwifo signing. It reports are to be believed, then Zander “thwifo” Kim could be set to swap XSET for AndBox. With thwifo still being contracted to XSET, AndBox are understood to be negotiating his buyout fee. The news was broken by George Geddes from Upcomer earlier this week.

18-year-old thwifo joined XSET in July last year. However, the American was placed on the bench following the arrivals of Rory “dephh” Jackson and Zachary “zekken” Patrone last month. While the announcement of thwifo’s arrival at AndBox is expected shortly, nothing can be made official until the two parties have come to an agreement.

Who thwifo wll join at AndBox

Should the expected transfer go through, thwifo would become the fifth member of AndBox’s VALORANT roster, with the North America VALORANT Champions Tour Stage Three: Challengers Two Open qualifiers getting underway on July 22. Thwifo will team up with Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, Adam “mada” Pampuch, Daniel “vice” Kim and Noah “jcStani” Smith.

AndBox recently parted ways with Sebastian “seb” Bucki, with the decision having been made after the team failed to qualify for the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers One main event. While many VALORANT pros joined the Riot Games title from Counter Strike: Global Offensive, thwifo’s history lies in Fortnite.

Why AndBox are keen on bringing in Thwifo

Having been part of the Pretty Boyz lineup, he was signed by XSET upon their entry into the VALORANT scene. The teenager made his name with Ghost Gaming, before retiring from the battle royale title at the beginning of 2020. The team won the Nerd Street Gamers x Complexity Invitational in January this year, before finishing second in the NA VCT Stage Two: Challengers One. With the Stage Three: Challengers Two open qualifier getting underway in under two weeks, an announcement regarding the future of thwifo should be made sooner rather than later.
