SSJ4 Gogeta to Join Dragon Ball FighterZ on March 12th!

SSJ4 Gogeta is the latest addition to the ever-growing Dragon Ball FighterZ roster! He isn’t what most of us expected, but he’s a stellar choice nonetheless! Heck, we’re putting it mildly here. And, better yet, we won’t have to wait long for his release!

As always, a picture’s worth a thousand words — check out Gogeta in action down below!

A Quick Rundown

First thing’s first, let’s talk release date. If you happen to be a FighterZ Pass 3 holder, you’ll get your hands on SSJ4 Gogeta on March 10th! If that isn’t the case, you’ll have to wait two days longer for his official worldwide release.

You can check out a more thorough showcase of Gogeta’s abilities by clicking here.

The jury’s still out on his overall power level, but by the looks of it, Gogeta is bound to leave an indelible mark on the Dragon Ball FighterZ meta. He also comes with a fairly unique ability kit — it’s all mostly melee without any true full-screen beam attacks. His Supers, however, are downright OP. SSJ4 Gogeta can dish out up to 19,980 damage with his stage seven level three Super. And no, that wasn’t a typo — he’s as strong as you’d expect given his anime power level. He also has a double air dash, lunge attacks that are impervious to projectiles, and even a “Bluff Kamehameha” that’s basically a command grab.

In short, the closer Gogeta gets to his target, the more damage he’ll be able to dish out. And by “more” we mean “a lot more.” He’s an absolute powerhouse and we cannot wait to see him in action!

An Exciting Outlook

Finally, the fact that we’re getting so many characters from Dragon Ball GT is quite an exciting thing. GT wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea (and rightfully so), but it was definitely packed with numerous phenomenal fighters and seeing them included in the game is an absolute dream come true.

So we’ve gotten GT Goku, Super Baby, and now SSJ4 Gogeta, which means that Omega Shenron is all but guaranteed at this point. Exciting stuff!
