Rambo, Rain, and Mileena to Join the Mortal Kombat 11 Roster!

Here’s a bit of fun news: Rain, Mileena, and Rambo (yes, that Rambo) will all be joining the ever-growing Mortal Kombat 11 roster! Fans have long been speculating which characters would eventually join the fight, but Rambo definitely came out of left field!

All three are slated for release as a part of the Kombat Pack 2 DLC. And what would a DLC announcement be without a proper cinematic trailer?

Needless to say, this is quite hype. Even better, the voice you’ve heard is the one and only Sylvester Stallone who reprised his role and is actually voicing Rambo in-game (confirmed by Ed Boon!) Quite a nice move on NetherRealm’s part! Rain and Mileena are definitely old-school fan-favorite characters, but no one expected an iconic figure like Rambo to show up in Mortal Kombat. Then again, with Schwarzenegger’s Terminator, Robocop, Spawn, and Joker, it’s not like he’s not a good fit. On the contrary!

You’ll be able to purchase the Kombat Pack 2 and unlock all three downloadable characters on November 17th. This includes PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate

Mortal Kombat Rambo

If you’re looking to buy a next-gen console and are a big fan of Mortal Kombat, you’re in luck! MK11 Ultimate is an updated version of Mortal Kombat 11 that’s scheduled for release on November 17th ($59,99). It’ll come with all previous DLC packs and expansions (Pack 1 + 2 and Aftermath Expansion). If, however, you’ve already purchased MK11 in the past and are planning on getting a next-gen console, you’ll be able to upgrade free of charge!

Naturally, this’ll be the best and most definitive version of NetherRealm’s prized fighting game. The fact that you can even scoop it up for free only sweetens the deal for prospective console buyers!

As expected, Mortal Kombat 11’s fighter roster continues to grow in new and exciting ways. Seeing how the game is still insanely popular, don’t expect a sequel any time soon. Fortunately, DLC packs and fan-favorite characters are more than enough to assuage the wait until MK12!
