BTS Pro Series Season 3 Europe/CIS is the only BTS tournament that hasn’t ended yet. In the Americas and in Southeast Asia, Quincy Crew and Motivate.Trust won the title. In Europe we’re down to the final four teams. Let’s see who they are and how they got here.

The Remaining Competitors

Two of the four remaining teams will meet in the Upper Bracket Final while the other two will meet in the Lower Bracket Round 3.

mudgolems

This is FATA’s new team and his prowess is clearly visible in how the roster plays and wins. In the Group Stage, mudgolems drew against Khan and HellRaisers and then got six wins in a row. With these results, they won the round-robin and started the Playoffs in the Upper Bracket. Their first and only match so far in the second stage of the tournament was against Khan. This dispute was harder than expected and needed three games to be decided. But mudgolems still won in the end.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

This is the other Upper Bracket team that will play in the Final against mudgolems. But unlike their opponent, they had slightly weaker results in the Group Stage of BTS Pro Series Season 3 Europe/CIS: 4 wins – 3 draws – 1 loss. As you might have guessed, the loss was registered against mudgolems. And keep in mind, the competitive format was Bo2. In a Bo3, mudgolems is even more likely to get a victory. NiP’s first Playoffs match was against Vikin.gg and ended after two quick games.

Khan

Khan played really well so far at this event, but the main issue is that they lost against Vikin.gg. And they’ll have to face the same opponent in their next match. Overall, Khan ended the Group Stage with 2 wins, 4 draws, and 2 losses. And, as I mentioned before, in the Playoffs they lost in their first match against mudgolems. After they dropped in the Lower Bracket, their first opponent was HellRaisers and Khan won the match with ease.

Vikin.gg

This team finished 2nd in the Group Stage with 5 wins, 2 draws, and just one loss (against mudgolems). In the Playoffs, Vikin.gg lost against NiP in the Upper Bracket and then won against 5men in the Lower Bracket. Based on these results, it’s clear that they’re considerably stronger than Khan and will likely win their next match.

Tournament Predictions

The Grand Final is likely going to take place between mudgolems and NiP. Another potential opponent for mudgolems is Vikin.gg, but their chances are considerably weaker. Based on everything that happened so far and the composition of these four competitors, I think it’s hard to imagine modgolems losing this trophy. The skill difference is substantial and it’s not just on paper. It has already been demonstrated at this event. Both of these teams lost against mudgolems in the Group Stage. And if they couldn’t at least draw in a Bo2, a Bo3 or a Bo5 will surely prove much harder.
