Leading Dota 2 and CS:GO Esports organization OG has signed the Monkey Business VALORANT roster, a move which will see them enter the Riot Games first-person shooter scene for the first time. Monkey Business recently performed well in the opening Challengers weekend of the VALORANT Champions Tour European Division, which undoubtedly made them more attractive to OG.

Who Will Make Up the OG VALORANT Lineup?

Now competing under the banner of OG, the lineup is made up by Dylan “aKm” Bignet, Benjamin “uNKOE” Chevasson, Kevin “TviQ” Lindstrom, Dragan “elllement” Milanovic and Theo “OniBy” Tarlier. Meanwhile, head coach Julien “daemoN” Ducros has also been signed by OG, with the organization having broken the news on its various social media pages on Tuesday.

OG co-founders and co-owners, Sebastian “Ceb” Debs and Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, former Dota 2 legends themselves, were clearly delighted with their acquisition. The duo described the new VALORANT players as the “perfect fit” for OG, stating that “Sometimes the stars align and you have an opportunity to do something really interesting.”

It was seemingly fate that the lineup ended up at OG, with Monkey Business having been the name that the OG Dota 2 lineup competed as before Ceb and N0tail founded the organization. OG went on to win consecutive Championships at The International, still being the only team to so. Meanwhile, OG entered the CS:GO scene in 2019, with their lineup having recently finished as runners up at Flashpoint Season 2.

When We Can Expect to See OG VALORANT in Action

The OG VALORANT lineup debuted together just in time for Challengers One, a tournament at the Red Bull Home Ground. Meanwhile, they will now go on to compete at Challengers Two under the banner of OG for the first time. Action here is due to get underway later in February.

Specifically, Challengers Two closed qualifiers will take place on February 20 and 21, with the new OG team hoping to become one of eight to make it through to the EU Masters.
