Christian “loWel” Garcia, the former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro, has established a brand new Valorant Esports roster, which will be known as Team Inferno. While there had been rumours that the team would feature well-known players including Daniil “pipsoN” Meshcheryakov and Joseph “Luzuh” Loose, we now know that this is not the case, with the complete roster having been announced this week.

The Team Inferno Valorant roster will in fact feature William “draken” Sundin, Mattias “Khobra” Heidnertis, Melih “pAura” Karaduran, Dustyn “nieSoW” Durnas and loWel himself. loWel is undoubtedly the leading player for Inferno, having represented the likes of Mousesports, Team Dignitas and Hellraisers in the past, with his last outing in CS:GO having been with Movistar Riders. However, having now made the switch to Valorant, the Spaniard will be looking to make a name for himself once again. Coming with a reputation as being one of the finest Spanish Esports players ever, with Oscar “Mixwell” Canellas also being in the equation, much will rest on the shoulders of Garcia.

Elsewhere, Swede draken will be familiar to many, having played for Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic over the years, making a name for himself as a leading CS:GO AWPer. Offering vast experience, draken has been competing in Valorant since back in April, having already registered successes in the G2 Esports European Brawl and Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown. However, and in news that will surprise some, he will not act as the team’s main operator.

Elsewhere on the team, khobra has competed at a regional level in Sweden, representing organisations such as Lemondogs and AliGon. Meanwhile, nieSoW has played both Apex Legends and Battalion 1944 in the past, however he was banned from the latter following accusations of cheating in competitions.

pAura is a name that will be new to most, having established himself as a leading Cypher on the European Esports scene. He already has a series of Valorant victories to his name and could well be one of the surprise packages for Team Inferno. The man in charge of developing such talent will be Tanishq “Tanizhg” Sabharwal, who has previously worked in Overwatch for Montreal Rebellion and Team Gigantti.

We will be able to see just what the team has to offer very soon, with Inferno set to feature at the LVL Clash 2, where they will go head to head with other European organisations.
