Pool Party skins are among the most beloved in League of Legends, so it was only a matter of time before they made an appearance in LoR as well! These summer-themed cosmetics will be hitting live servers on June 16th, so definitely prepare your wallet if this sort of thing tickles your fancy! We still don’t know which champions will get the nod, but it’s fair to assume that a slew of fan-favorite picks will be prioritized first.

But Pool Party skins are, obviously, not the most important thing here. What is, however, is that we’ve finally been given a more thorough look at what’s to come and, needless to say, there’s quite a lot to unravel!

So, as always, let’s dive a bit deeper into the nitty-gritty!

FRG LoR Pool Party Roadmap

Talk about a packed schedule!

LoR | Pool Party Skins, Ruination, and More!

We’re quickly approaching spoiler season which means that a bunch of goodies are about to come our way! This includes a brand-new expansion called “Rise of the Underworlds” (June 30th) along with the long-awaited (and much-anticipated) Ruination event on July 14th. We’re talking about a truly seismic happening that’ll be followed by a brand-new Lab that’s still veiled in secrecy (July 28th). All in all, the next 45 days are packed to the brim with interesting LoR stuff, so definitely make sure to log in, queue up, and start grinding!

If, on the other hand, you’re more into competitive play, you’ll be elated to find out that there’s a bunch of stuff to watch/partake in over the coming weeks, including the “Last Chance Gauntlet” and the upcoming Seasonal Tournament. The cut-off moment is scheduled for June 17th, with the open rounds starting just two days later. The playoffs, however, are scheduled to begin on the 26th before the brand-new ranked season officially begins.

New Cards & Champions | “Rise of the Underworlds”

This will be the third and final expansion of the “Empires of the Ascended” set and, needless to say, we’re all waiting its release with bated breath! Based on previous leaks, though, we know that Pyke and Ekko will be entering the fray. Whether or not they’ll upend the meta still remains to be seen, but the potential is certainly there.

As always, expect a ton of new Bilgewater and Piltover & Zaun support cards, along with a few surprises thrown in for good measure! In any case, spoiler season is right around the corner, so hold tight!

Let’s Talk Events

If things pan out “as expected,” Ruination will leave an indellible mark on the game. We’re talking about an event that has been years in the making, so anything other than that would truly be a letdown. How it’ll affect Legends of Runeterra, though, still remains to be seen.

If recent events are anything to go by, you can expect a slew of cosmetic items, board designs, emotes, Guardians, and everything in between! And, given Ruination’s overall importance, Riot might have something a bit more grandiose prepared, so definitely stay tuned!

In any case, with so much content coming our way (and the dev team deciding to revert back to more substantial balance changes), it’s definitely a good time to be a Legends of Runeterra player!
