LoL – Dignitas is letting go of Dardoch because of his temper

Dignitas is letting go of Dardoch because of his temper, gets Akaadian instead. The 23-year old Jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett has been a little over one year with Dignitas and so far has managed to not make the best name for himself. He is infamous for his temper and attitude issues.

What happened?

In a clip from Team Liquid’s Breaking Point documentary back in 2016, he started a heavy confrontation with his teammates, specifically Choi “Locodoco” Yoon-seop. Now Dignitas has had enough and says goodbye to Dardoch. After an incident with Dardoch, the organisation decided to part ways for good.

James Baker, the team’s director of esports said in a video posted on twitter, that “Dardoch’s actions on Friday were not in line with what we consider acceptable for a player at Dignitas. We know that players get frustrated—I’ve been there and everyone gets frustrated. But the things that we saw were just not something we could work with moving forward.”

The team also hired a sports psychologist to strengthen the line-ups mindset again after everything that happened. Dardoch is going to be replaced by Akaadian on the LCS Line-up for the rest of the LCS Summer Split.

It is not completely known what exactly happened with Dardoch, but apparently his temper, recent performances, and possible roster decisions might have led to the decision to part ways with him. Dardoch was already benched last week after the team lost to last-place Golden Guardians and now Dignitas decided to let go of him completely.

We are exited though to see how Akaadian is going to perform in the line-up, especially when Dignitas has to face Evil Geniuses, FlyQuest, and 100 Thieves soon.
