TSM look set to make their first moves during the offseason. Reports state that the organization is to announce the arrivals of AD carry Edward “Tactical” Ra and support Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle, who will join from Team Liquid and G2 Esports, respectively. With both players having been under contract, TSM would have been required to buyout their contracts, with the finances of the deals being unknown at this stage.

It is a pretty exciting time for TSM, with owner, founder and CEO Andy “Reginald” Dinh having let it be known that top laner Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon and jungler Mingyi “Spica” Lu, would both remain on board for the 2022 season. Huni joined the org shortly before the start of the 2021 season, while Spica joined the TSM academy following the 2019 LCS Spring Split, before being promoted to their main roster within six months.

How the TSM League of Legends Roster is Shaping Up Ahead of the 2022 Season

Apart from retaining the duo, TSM has made no other official announcements regarding new arrivals so far. However, there has been multiple departures, with Head Coach Soren “Bjergsen” Bjerg having left in order to renew his playing career with Team Liquid. Meanwhile, Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Cheih has also departed after some drama with CEO Andy Dinh, having only joined before the 2021 season, on a two-year, $6 million deal.

Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage has now signed for Immortals, while AD carry Lawrence “Lost” Hui joined Golden Guardians, ending TSM’s clearout. Should Tactical’s arrival be confirmed, it would be sensible business by TSM. The 21-year-old American played for the TSM Academy in 2019, before competing for Team Liquid at the Worlds 2020. Should he be able to rediscover the Liquid form, Tactical could well be a major asset to TSM.

How Much TSM Will Have to Pay to Acquire Mikyx

The arrival of Mikyx would likely be significantly more complicated though. The Slovenian star is believed to have a buyout of $1.5 million, something in which TSM and G2 have been negotiating. Despite this, a report from Pablo “Bloop” Suarez states that the deal is still expected to go through.

23-year-old Mikyx has competed for Fnatic, Splyce and Misfits Gaming over the years, before joining G2 in November 2018. The Slovenian helped the org finish 3rd-4th at the Worlds 2020, before finishing top of the Spring standings. We will bring further information surrounding the arrivals of Tactical and Mikyx as and when official announcements are made.
