CS:GO AWPer Kenny “kennyS” Schrub was released by G2 Esports at the beginning of the month, however it has seemingly not taken the Frenchman long to find his next roster. The veteran looks set to become the latest CS:GO pro to make the switch to VALORANT, having been pictured trialing with Alliance.

While no official announcement has been made, the legendary sniper is seemingly keeping his options open following his release from G2. However, a post on social media from Alliance analyst Mitch “MitchMan” McBride saw the 25-year-old playing with the rest of the organization’s lineup. The post has since been deleted.

Will KennyS Become the Latest CS:GO Pro to Switch to VALORANT?

According to reports, a future in CS:GO remains an option for KennyS, who played for the likes of Titan and Team EnVyUs before joining G2 in 2017. KennyS, as well as compatriot Nathan “NBK” Schmitt, who was recently benched by OG, spoke out on his future following his departure from G2, stating that:

“Thanks for your crazy support today, I definitely need some time off, will enjoy next week! I’ll still be streaming, I’ll let you know tomorrow or Monday how I plan that! As I’ve said on stream, I have my friends and my brother over for the week so I will take some time off. But here is the schedule of the week! Next week will be grind time, I hope you’ll keep supporting me my friends.”

What the Future Holds for Alliance

As for Alliance, the team recently qualified for the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters event after a successful run in Challengers Two. Despite this, it was announced that the team would be parting company with Vilius “krea6oN” Malinauskas, a move which was put down to his “lack of team experience”.

Alliance kick start their Masters campaign on March 12, with it remaining to be seen as to whether KennyS is part of their roster or not. The Frenchman was released by G2 following the org’s decision to bring back Audric “JACKZ” Jug to their active roster, as well as moving star man Nikola “NiKo” Kovac to hybrib/rifler.
