As the organization continues to invest heavily, Guild Esports have announced the arrival of Dawson “D7RL” Berbuntes. Adding to their list of content creators, the Rocket League favorite will join the likes of Snowmixy, Stevie White, Gee Nelly, SoMarcus, TN25 and Nihachu at Guild.

Speaking on his arrival at Guild, Executive Chairman, Carleton Curtis, stated that: “I’m incredibly proud to welcome the first French-language content creator to Guild. It is imperative that we are able to provide authentic content to audiences in a manner that resonates with them. D7RL allows us to do this to the French-speaking community and we are excited about the content we’ll be able to create together and expand into this market.”

What D7RL Said On His Arrival at Guild

Meanwhile, D7RL has also spoken of his excitement at joining the up and coming org.

“It’s a great honor to be joining Guild Esports at a time of incredible growth and success. After the professional team’s recent win at the Spring European Regional I can’t wait to take the Rocket League content to the next level.”

While Guild continues to invest heavily in Fortnite, having signed former FNCS winners such as Nikolaj “Flikk” Andreas Frøsle, Henrik “Hen” Mclean, Anas “Anas” El-Abd, Tai “TaySon” Starčič, and Jannis “JannisZ” Matwin, the org has demonstrated that they are also looking to make waves in other games.

Why Rocket League Is a Major Focus for Guild

Guild recently won the recent RLCS X Spring European Regional, their second major success. Thomas ‘ThO’ Binkhorst, Joseph ‘Noly’ Kidd and David ‘Deevo’ Morrow helped to see off Aether in the final, a match which attracted over 100,000 viewers on Twitch. The win also handed Guild $30,000 in prize money.

Speaking on the recent success of Guild, Curtis added:

“Guild Esports continues to go from strength to strength and this latest result has confirmed our Rocket League team to be one of the best in Europe and a true EU championship title contender.”

The signing of D7RL will undoubtedly enhance Guild’s following in France, with the former Exalty player having just under 100,000 followers on Twitch to his name at present. The 20 year old will also be hoping to grow his following having joined Guild.
