Giants Gaming has announced that they have signed a European lineup, having acquired the former Prodigy Orgless roster. Ahead of the VALORANT Champions Tour, which get underway in February, their new roster is made up by four Orgless players, as well as one ex-FunPlus Phoenix gamer.

Vincent “Happy” Schopenhauer, Daniil “pipsoN” Mesheryakov, Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas and Ricardas “Boo” Lukasevicius are joined by Renbjork “Meddo” Lundborg. The latest additions for Giants Gaming led to the arrival of Niki “delezyh” Sutinen following the First Strike tournament. Orgless had been regarded as one of the best teams in Europe, however they had gone through a host of roster changes themselves.

Why Giants Gaming Added Such Players to Its Roster

The likes of Jacob “pyth” Mouruharvi, Oscar “mixwell” Canellas Colocho and Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom all featured for the team, before moving to G2 and Team Liquid. Orgless became known for being the first home of many talented youngsters, who move on to bigger teams thanks to their performances.

Orgless competed under the banner of Prodigy at the European First Strike tournament, an event in which they made it through to the quarter finals, before coming unstuck against G2 Esports. Despite not having a traditional structure, Orgless were widely regarded as one of the region’s best teams.

When We Will See the New-Look Giants Gaming Lineup in Action

Spanish organization Giants Gaming previously favored domestic-based players, however they have seemingly moved away from this strategy. Swede Meddo forms part of their new lineup, with Giants having released its entire Spanish roster back at the beginning of the year. Meddo made his name with FunPlus Phoenix, alongside Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov and Tobias “ShadoW” Flodstrom. It was with FunPlus that Meddo and Co made it through to the last four of the First Strike event, eventually losing to SUMN FC.

Having surprisingly been released by the team following the tournament, Giants Gaming have been quick to pick him up. Giants recently competed in the LVP Rising Series, however they failed to make it out of the group stage. The team will be much changed for the EU Challengers next month.
