According to a recent report from Sportskeeda, TSM FTX are close to acquiring an Indian Free Fire roster, with Sixth Sense believed to be the team in question. A leaked picture from the Free Fire Esports site seemingly shows that the North American org has completed such a deal. While nothing has been made official as of yet, it appears to be just a matter of time.

It comes as no surprise that Sixth Sense has attracted the attention of leading Esports organizations. The team has been putting in some good performances in 2021, having finished in 4th place in the Free Fire India Championship Spring Season. The team also won the Tri-Series back in April.

Why TSM is to enter the Free Fire scene

TSM continues to invest in new areas. The org announced a naming rights deal with FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange company, worth some $210 million earlier in the year. The org stated that a proportion of such funds would be spent on mobile gaming, as they bid to expand globally.

Free Fire, a battle royale game from Garena, is one of the leading Esports tiles in the world today. This is demonstrated by the 5.4 million fans that tuned in to the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Singapore last month. This is the highest viewership outside of China for any Esports event.

TSM is already active in the Indian mobile gaming scene

TSM already operates in the Indian PUBG Mobile scene, with their roster having been established following a partnership with local org Entity Gaming. Known as TSM Entity, the team won a host of tournaments, before PUBG Mobile was banned in India. However, with the game set to return, TSM will be hoping to pick up where they left off.

The Sixth Sense Free Fire roster is made up by Sager “ILUMINATI” Patel, Jayesh “MR.JAYYT” Yadav, Titas “STONER” Roy, Naitik “OLDMONK” Khoshto and in-game leader Indranil “FABINDRO” Saha.
