Flusha Plays Down Chances of autimatic & sunny Link Up

It has long been speculated that leading CS:GO trio Robin “flusha” Ronnquist, Timothy “autimatic” Ta and Miikka “suNny” Kemppi would team up together. However, it now appears unlikely, with the popular players having seemingly found it difficult to find an organization to compete under the banner of.

Fnatic favorite flusha spoke of the possibility during the latest episode of the popular HLTV Confirmed podcast, stating that the trio teaming up was “probably not going to happen.” The Swede confirmed that two additional players had given the green light to join the trio, should an Esports organization be willing to take them on. However, with the CS:GO scene being in turmoil due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this appears unlikely, for the time being at least.

Why the Popular Trio Have Been Unable to Find an Org

Organizations are rightly being cautious about investing in CS:GO, with a host of events having been cancelled of late. As such, no “established” organizations have made contact with the trio to date, with few having the funds to draw up new contracts or purchase players. Jack “Jackinho” Strom Mattson replaced flusha back in January, following his decision to step down from the Fnatic lineup.

Meanwhile, Autimatic was made available for transfer by Gen.G back in December. However, he remains the only former Gen.G player not to have found a new team or made the switch to VALORANT. Finally, SuNny is also on the lookout for new ventures, having been made inactive by ENCE at the end of 2020. This move came just one month before ENCE launched a new international CS:GO roster.

What the Future Holds for flusha, Autimatic & suNny

Any interested parties may have to move quickly, with autimatic having been the latest high profile CS:GO player to be linked with a move to VALORANT. This comes after the player himself teased fans by announcing that he had been playing “a game made by Riot” during the holidays.

Many CS:GO fans, and of Esports in general, would enjoy seeing flusha, Autimatic and suNny compete together, however this would appear nothing more than a nice idea at this time.
