OG has announced the signing of Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, with the 17-year-old set to replace the recently departed Issa “ISSAA” Murad. The announcement comes just days ahead of the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021, with the rifler having made his name with British organization, Endpoint.

FlameZ helped Endpoint in qualifying for the ESL Pro League Season 13 during his 7 months with the team. The teenager was also a major factor in the team significantly improving upon its world ranking, meaning that it should come as no surprise that a leading organization has given him the chance to make the step up to the highest level.

What OG Has Said on the Arrival of flameZ

OG previously signed Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen as a replacement for Nathan “NBK” Schmitt, with the latter having been benched following his failure to return to his best form, having signed for the org back in 2019. Speaking on the latest roster changes, OG Co-founder Charlie Debs stated that: “With Nikolaj and Shahar now joining the roster, we are confident that we can keep pushing the team towards the highest levels of Counter-Strike. Shahar is an amazingly talented young player who already understands what it takes to perform at the highest level, and we will do our best to offer him the right tools to bloom even more this season.”

When Will flameZ Make His OG Debut?

FlameZ has long been regarded as one of leading youngsters within CS:GO, with his communication and strategy being areas in which he excels. However, with the teenager having had little time to get to grips with his new teammates, it will be interesting to see how he performs on debut. This is especially the case, given that OG will come up against the might of Astralis in the single-elimination bracket first round. Fans looking forward to seeing flameZ in action will not have to wait long, with this match having been scheduled for Tuesday, April 13.

OG’s CS:GO lineup is now made up by flameZ, Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen, Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså, Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski and Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen. Casper “ruggah” Due remains as the team’s coach.
