Esports organization Alliance has announced the signing of its first VALORANT player, with Enzo” Fearoth” Mestari having joined. The former Ninjas in Pyjamas man will become Alliance’s captain in the process, with Frenchman having entered the scene last year with HypHypHyp.

Alliance are set to move quickly following the arrival of general manager James Banks, with the well-known Esports broadcaster and analyst set to make a significant mark on the organization. Fearoth has been signed as Alliance’s main Sova player, while he will also act as in-game leader and captain.

How Fearoth Got Started in VALORANT

Fearoth was recently part of the FeaFeaFea lineup that won back to back Tier-C events, coming in the shape of the Occitanie Esports – 2020 and Grand Festival Gaming – Invitational. Meanwhile, with Ninjas in Pyjamas, Fearoth and his teammates finished 4th at the BLAST Twitch Invitational back in September last year.

The 24-year-old is a former CS:GO professional, having retired from the scene with an average K/D ratio of 1.05, based on stats from HLTV. Having been one of the many players to have made the switch to VALORANT, Fearoth competed under the banner of a host of different rosters at smaller tournaments, before finding a permanent home with Ninjas in Pyjamas.

What Alliance Has Had to Say on the Signing

Speaking on the arrival of Fearoth, James Banks stated that the Frenchman has “real leadership qualities”, while he is also someone who the organization can potentially “build the Alliance team around”. The arrival of Fearoth was confirmed on Twitter and via a press release on the organization’s official website, with further announcements being expected in the near future.

Alliance is best known for its achievements in Starcraft and Dota 2, while Smash Brothers favorites Adam “Armada” Lindgren and Andreas “Android” Lindgren also represent the organization. The Alliance Dota roster won The International 3 back in 2013, however the signing of Fearoth signals their first step into a tactical shooter title.
