Kay, a former member of the FaZe clan, has now spoken out about the crypto-scam involving the SavetheKids token. He claims that his trust was abused to defraud others. Kay was one of four FaZe Clan members involved in the alleged SaveTheKids crypto “pump and dump” scam.

Jarvis, Nikan, Teeqo and Kay publicly promoted the token to their fans. They urged them to buy the tokens before the value of the coin dropped to almost 10% of its original value and a lot of people lost their money.

FaZe decided to suspend them

As a result, FaZe Clan suspended Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo indefinitely, but Kay was kicked out of the lineup completely. Now he has decided to justify himself and says that he also lost money in the scam and asked his fans not to believe everything they read online. “All these people who make videos think they know the truth and who is responsible, even if they just don’t know. Here’s the truth: I lost money on the SaveTheKids token, but what actually upsets me the most is that someone else got hurt,” he said in a video.

Apparently, Kay has hired a team to conduct a ” thorough and independent investigation” to find out what exactly happened with the SaveTheKids token launch, because he and the three other players could still be arrested for fraud and money laundering. The owner of the organization, Faze Banks denied ever knowing about the investment. “We have enough to prove that a dishonest person abused trust with me to defraud others,” said Kay.

Has Kay been scammed?

“This person gained my trust and the trust of my friends while still encouraging us to be the public faces of his scam. Then he abused that trust to change the code just before launch, which earned him six-figure profits while the rest of us were blamed.”

He asked his fans to come forward with evidence if they invested in the token themselves.

“We want to give the authorities all the evidence they need to take appropriate action, and with your help we can hold him accountable and make sure he’s never able to do something like this again,” he said. “You will never know how much I appreciate your support, and I want this fraudster to get the just punishment he deserves.”
