ESL One Germany 2020 is ready to continue. Right now we’re in the middle of the Playoffs and the competition took a short break. On October 28th, the matches are set to resume and we’re about to see if Team Secret is still the unbeatable raid boss we’ve come to admire and if other participants, such as Natus Vincere and Alliance, have what it takes to get a top 3 result. Everyone that’s left in the race has already secured a top 6 finish and over $15,000 in prizes, but a lot more can be won. The winner will be awarded $150,000 and the runner-up will also get a hefty prize: $80,000. So I’m pretty sure that everyone’s still motivated to win.

Upcoming Matches

ESL One Germany 2020 has two matches scheduled for its first competitive day after the break. These matches are the following:

Team Secret – mudgolems

Secret had a brief moment of adversity in the first round of the Upper Bracket, losing the first game in the match against Nigma. Puppey ultimately won the dispute with a score of 2 – 1, but this misstep raised some questions in the community. At the same time, mudgolems had a phenomenal tournament so far, qualifying for the Playoffs with 3 wins and just 1 loss (against Team Liquid) and then succeeding in beating Liquid in the first match of the Upper Bracket.

Because of these results, people are wondering if FATA- and his squad could pose a serious threat to Secret. And I think they’re definitely capable of doing that. But in the end, the score will probably still favor Puppey’s team. The difference in skill and results is simply too big to make the leap of faith required to fully believe that mudgolems is going to win this match.

Natus Vincere – Vikin.gg

RodjER and his roster had a rough time in the Group Stage of ESL One Germany 2020, qualifying for the Playoffs with 3 wins and 2 losses. However, as soon as it got to the second stage of the tournament, Na’Vi succeeded in beating one of the great competitors in the race, the two-times TI winners OG.

Vikin.gg also had a modest performance in the Group Stage and required 5 matches to qualify. But in the Playoffs, to everyone’s surprise, they somehow managed to beat Alliance with a score of 2 – 0.

This match will no doubt be highly disputed, as both teams have what it takes to win. But I do believe that Na’Vi will triumph in the end.
