EPIC League Division 1 Week 2 Preview

EPIC League Division 1 is about to enter its second competitive week. The first one was full of upsets and incredible matches. The second one is likely to provide something similar. Let’s have a look at the results and then I will offer you my predictions for week 2.

EPIC League Division 1 Week 1 Results

EPIC League started with some strange results. For example, Team Secret barely managed to beat mudgolems, the team they lost to in their last tournament, and then the next day they lost against Vikin.gg with a score of 0 – 2. OG lost to Virtus.pro. Or better said, to VP’s former academy team. Liquid managed to lose 3 matches out of 3, against Na’Vi, Vikin.gg, and Just Error.

The pleasant surprises of the first competitive week were Natus Vincere and Vikin.gg. Both teams ended the week undefeated. Vikin.gg won two matches while Na’Vi won 3. With this string of victories, RodjER’s team has clearly proved that it is now a force in Europe and CIS and that its 2^nd place finish at ESL One Germany 2020 wasn’t a fluke.

• 7^th place: Just Error: 1 W – 2 L
• 8^th place: OG: 1 W – 2 L
• 9^th place: Alliance: 0 W – 2 L
• 10^th place: Team Liquid: 0 W – 3 L

It’s quite extraordinary how Team Liquid went from winning ESL One Germany 2020 to this. But perhaps they’ll find a way to recover in week 2.

Week 2 Predictions

Week 2 of EPIC League Division 1 is scheduled to take place between November 19^th – 22^nd. Or the usual Thursday – Sunday routine. A lot of great matches await, and you’ll have the chance to watch all of the action between 14:00 – 22:00 CET each day.
