Dignitas has announced the arrival of another former Ninjas in Pyjamas player, with Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson having been added to the organization’s CS:GO roster. The Swede’s move to Dignitas will see him reunite with Patrik “f0rest” Lingberg, who is widely regarded as one of the leading pros in the history of the Valve FPS title.

Lindberg spent some seven years with NiP, before joining Dignitas at the beginning of 2021. Lekr0 and f0rest spent two years competing alongside one another between 2018 and 2020, however early success was followed by disappointment, with NiP having been unable to replicate their performances of the last.

How the Dignitas CS:GO Lineup Now Looks

Dignitas have now benched Haris “H4RR3” Hadzic, with Lekr0 having made his debut for the team in the first round of the Pinnacle Cup against Finnish side HAVU, a match in which HAVU ran out 2-0 winners. Alongside Lekr0 and f0rest, the Dignitas lineup is made up by Håkon ‘hallzerk’ Fjærli, Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso and Adam “friberg” Friberg.

The arrival of F0rest has done little to impact Dignitas’ slump so far, despite the 32-year-old having the experience of playing alongside star players such as Christopher  “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Robin “Fifflaren” Johansson and Richard “Xizt” Landstrom over the years. GeT_RiGhT has since retired, while Fifflaren has stepped into a coaching role and Xizt also departed.

Why Lekr0 Was a Free Agent

Lekr0 signed for Danish org North back in February after parting ways with NiP at the end of last year. However, with North having been forced to close down due to a lack of finances, caused in part by the Covid-19 pandemic, Lekr0 was put up for sale, along with the remainder of the roster. The Swede becomes the first inactive ex-North player to sign for a new team.

Lekr0’s CS:GO career dates back to 2015 with Team Decerto, having also played for the likes of GODSENT, Fnatic and NiP. The rifler has almost $500,000 in prize winnings to his name to date.
