Built By Gamers Unveils New Halo Infinite Lineup

Built By Gamers has become the latest team to enter the Halo Infinite scene, with the Esports organization having announced its roster this week. The team looks to be well set for the Halo Championship Series (HCS), with “KingJay”, “Minds”, “Dillon “Nebula” Myslinksi and Kyle “Nemmasist” Kubina having been unveiled by the org over the weekend.

A whole host of org’s have chosen to invest in Halo Infinite, with the scene being the biggest it has arguably ever been. The opening weeks of the HCS have been significant, having broken all sorts of records when it comes to participation. Built By Gamers has joined the likes of G2 Esports, Cloud9, OpTic Gaming and Natus Vincere in joining the scene over recent weeks.

Why Built By Gamers Acquired the Roster

The org broke news of their arrival via Twitter, with Built By Gamers undoubtedly looking to make a major impact in the North American region. KingJay, Minds, Nebula and Nemassist competed in the HCS Raleigh Kick-Off Qualifier, with the quartet having finished in a respectable 13th-16th position.

The roster features a good mix of youth and experience, with some players having competed in the Halo scene for some time, while others are relative newcomers. Meanwhile, the Built By Gamers welcome video even had an appearance from Jeffrey Steitzer, the hugely popular in-game Halo announcer.

Speaking on his arrival at the org, KingJay posted the following message on Twitter: “LETS GOOOOO beyond excited to announce I’m officially signing with @builtbygamers as a Halo player alongside my teammates @Nebuula, @Nemassist & @Twissted_Mindss, it’s time to get to work.” This post was backed up by Minds, who wrote: “I’m super excited to play with this team thank you for the opportunity @builtbygamers.”

Nebula has competed for the likes of Global Sanction, Wise Gaming and Stainers since making his professional debut in 2016, with the American also being known as NeB.

When Will We See the Team in Action Next?

It will be interesting to see how quickly the roster can hit the ground running, with the players involved having not competed together for an extended period of time as of yet. However, their recent display was positive, especially given that they had completed just three practice sessions leading up to the event. They now move on to the HCS Raleigh in just a matter of weeks. The tournament is worth some $250,000 in prize money, with Built By Gamers entering at the open bracket stage.
