The Atlanta FaZe has announced the arrival of Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, with the 2019 World Champion having been released by the Chicago Huntsmen at the beginning of September. The 22-year-old had been linked with such a move ever since the end of the 2020 CDL season, with Arcitys having departed The Huntsmen alongside twin brother Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson.

Why Arcitys Chose to Move to the Atlanta FaZe

The duo were part of the EUnited roster that won the 2019 World Championship, with Arcitys having moved to Chicago following the franchise of the Call of Duty League. Former EUnited teammates James “Clayster” Eubanks moved to the Dallas Empire, where he would make it back to back World Championship successes, while Chris “Simp” Lehr and Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris joined the Atlanta FaZe.

As a result of his move to FaZe, Arcitys will now reunite with the “Tiny Terrors”, with the former EUnited players having all played for top three teams of late. The trio won their first World Championship together and will not form one of the most feared rosters in the North American COD scene.

How Arcitys Can Improve the FaZe COD Roster

The Atlanta FaZe enjoyed a successful regular season, finishing in first place following two home series wins, including their own back in February. Having won the Call of Duty League 2020 Week 3 – Atlanta and finished 3rd-4th at the Call of Duty League 2020 Week 4 – Los Angeles, with the arrival of Arcitys undoubtedly making them stronger as a team. They will likely be the team to beat once more, despite what the Huntsmen and Dallas Empire do during the off season.

Arcitys helped the Chicago Huntsmen to victory in their first meeting with Atlanta FaZe, coming up clutch to win both the round and the game. His abilities as an assault rifle are clear for all to see, with many having called his arrival at FaZe the best move of the off season to date. Arcitys will be the teams main AR, with Preston “Priestahh” Greiner and Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak having left to join the Minnesota RØKKR this week.
