Apex Legends | New ‘Emergence’ Trailer Shows Off Seer In Action

As expected, a brand new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends‘ upcoming season Emergence has just been shown off and, needless to say, it definitely gets the blood pumping! Moreover, it has finally given us a more thorough look at Seer and his peculiar ability kit!

Before we delve any deeper into the nitty-gritty, make sure to give the trailer a look — it does a phenomenal job at setting the stage for what’s to come!

Apex Legends ‘Emergence’ | Seer Ability Kit 

We already touched on Seer’s abilities in a previous post but there are a couple of interesting new tidbits that have just been shown off.

First of all, his Tactical ability (“Focus of Attention“) will allow Seer to fire out microdrones from his heart chamber and launch them in a straight line. After a short delay, these drones will collapse, scan enemies for eight seconds and then reveal their health bars. As if that wasn’t enough, this ability will also function as an interrupt. Talk about a wholly impactul ability, one that will benefit not just Seer but his teammates as well!

Moreover, his ultimate (“Exhibit“) also deserves a mention. Once activated, Seer will throw his heart chamber and create a big sphere of microdrones, all of which will then detect enemies who pass through it and/or fire their weapons. Enemies will, however, be able to bypass detection by walking (very) slowly or shooting the heart chamber to end the ultimate prematurely.

All in all, there’s quite a lot to like here, even though we’re still missing a few crucial details — cooldowns, damage numbers, etc. In any case, we’re bound to get a more detailed overview in a matter of days, so stay tuned!

Seer and his peculiar ability kit will no doubt leave a mark on the game and, frankly, we can’t wait to see him in action! Apex’s tenth season will hit live servers on August 3rd, so mark your calendars!
