BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas only has 6 teams left in the race, out of the initial 10. Two competitors (Team Zero and Havan Liberty) were eliminated in the Group Stage. Two more (Infinity Esports and 4 Zoomers) were eliminated in the first round of the Lower Bracket. During all this time, Quincy Crew thrived and was close to flawless.

Quincy’s Group Stage Results

Quincy Crew started this tournament as the big favorite to win the title. They have played in 10 Grand Finals in 2020 and won 7 trophies. This is clear evidence that QC is by far the strongest team in the region and basically without rival. Its only potential rival, Evil Geniuses, moved to Europe some time ago and will not interfere with Quincy’s tournaments until the global crisis is solved.

This is what Quincy Crew did in the Group Stage of BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas.

vs. Havan Liberty

This match was won with some difficulty. The first game was easy and ended in less than 27 minutes, while the second one lasted for 56 minutes. It’s quite strange that Quincy encountered so many problems against this team, which ended up finishing last in the round-robin.

vs. Infamous

This was the second victory obtained by Quincy Crew at BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas. Game 1 lasted 30 minutes while game 2 required 50 minutes. This was Infamous’ only defeat in the round-robin, so QC still did a great job.

vs. CR4ZY

This was a very easy victory that anyone could have predicted. And it was one of QC’s fastest matches at this event.

vs. Team Zero

This was another victory but again, one of the two games ended quickly (20 minutes) while the other was a struggle (44 minutes). And just like before, the opponent was a team that finished close to the bottom of the group (9th).

vs. Thunder Predator

This was a very important victory against an opponent that had had multiple Grand Finals in 2020, two of which were lost against Quincy Crew. With this victory, YawaR’s team consolidated its dominance over one of its most important regional rivals.

vs. Infinity

Once again, an easy victory for Quincy Crew. One of the games finished in 36 minutes while the other in 16. For Dota 2’s standards, a 16-minute game is almost unheard of.

vs. beastcoast

This was QC’s first draw at BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas. Beastcoast finished the round-robin in 2nd place with 3 wins, 6 draws and 0 losses. This match also took place on the same day when QC played Infinity, so fatigue probably played a role as well.

vs. 4 Zoomers

The match took place on the last competitive day and ended quickly with a victory for QC. But again, it made them a bit tired and that resulted in a poor performance in the last match of the round-robin.

vs. Team Brasil

Team Brasil had the highest number of draws (7), along with Infinity Esports. And they did what few people thought was possible in this match. They drew against Quincy Crew.

Playoffs

In the Playoffs, Quincy Crew played against Team Brasil and won with a score of 2 – 0. As a result of this victory, they are now waiting in the Upper Bracket Final for the winner between beastcoast and Infamous.
