Talking to fragster SK Gaming's CEO Alexander Müller announced that SK Gaming is going to announce new partners soon. The leader of the well-known organisation stated that the management was pretty active in the partner network and will publish some interesting news shortly. Even a partnership with SteelSeries is not out of the world, Müller told fragster. The hardware company and SK Gaming are still in talks about maybe exceeding the contract. Nothing is decided yet, concerning that matter.
Apart from announcing new partners, SK Gaming is not averse about siginig new teams. Especially thinking of Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Müller made clear that he likes these games. The problem with both is the publisher Valve being not that active in the eSports scene at all what makes it harder to invest budget in the games than it is the case for League of Legends or Starcraft 2. For the moment only one thing is sure. MC, the Korean Protoss, will remain the only Starcraft 2 player in the dress of SK Gaming.
Besides, Müller stated that the current state of the brand SK Gaming is still pretty good. "We are on our own way", the CEO clarified. Also, in the future the clan will not join others distorting the market. Instead, they will focus on serious business as they did in the years before. The development of SK Gaming is positive in the eyes of Müller who stated that the market is a bit too dynamic at the moment but the overall progress can be considered positive.
Apart from the discussion about his own clan, Müller told his opinion about eSports in television. In his mind the television companies have overslept the development. The eSports already has large numbers of spectators – numbers, some television stations just can dream of, he stated.
The extensive interview with Alexander Müller will be released this week.
