After fragster had a talk to Alex Müller last week, we were speaking with Jason Lake, CEO of compLexity Gaming, in the last days. Lake told that compLexity earned a lot of respect in the last ten years but shows pretty modest in terms of coL as an important organisation in the eSports world. "We're very passionate about gaming and try our best to appreciate our fans", is what Lake thinks about the role of compLexity at the moment.

Talking about 2013 he feels excited for the upcoming eSports year and has some signings for compLexity in his mind. Most likely the known American organisation will sign lineups in Dota 2 as well as League of Legends. "We've had LoL and Dota 2 squads in the past and are interested in having them in future", Lake explained. Lately the clan spoke to a lot of teams to find the right one. When exactly compLexity will jump back into the Riot and Valve games is not determined yet but Lake stated that he is pretty confident that coL will sign teams "sooner rather than later".

With many changes in the Starcraft 2 lineup lately, fragster also asked about the plans for the Blizzard game. "Right now we have open conversations with a couple players but are in no hurry", Lake told. compLexity sees a large number of top players on the open market at the moment. It's "wise to wait" concerning the shift to HotS and the current state of the market, Lake explained moreover.

Besides the future of Starcraft 2 at compLexity Gaming Lake as well stated that he is pretty "grateful for the hard work" the Korean players Kim 'GanZi' Dong Ju and Hyuk 'Heart' Kim Min put in during their time at compLexity gaming. Both had an offer of stay in compLexity Gaming but declined. Same with Michael 'goswser' Dobler who prefered to leave for Europe instead of singning a new contract with coL. Talking Yun Sik 'TheStC' Choi, the newest addition to the roster of the pro-gaming team, Lake explained that he went into talks with the Korean and Chris 'Illusion' Lee instantly after Quantic disbanded and "fourtunately" was able to sign TheStC.

The full interview with Jason Lake will be released this weekend on fragster.
