Cooller: "I want Av3k, noctis and DaHang"

fragster: Cooller, you won your group now. Was that the minimum result you wanted to reach in Paris?

Anton 'Cooller' Singov: Yeah, of course. I wanted to pass the first group stage.

What are you goals now for the rest of the tournament?

Cooller: To be honest, I really want to get first at this event, because I would like to have that trophy. But I don't think that I'm in the best shape at the moment, because it is a new place. And I also have to fix my mouse problems, since my sensitivity doesn't fit perfect. I hope that I can fix it for tomorrow.

I heard you have been in Cologne for a few days now and practised with rapha for this event. Do you think that he is in a shape to win this tournament?

Cooller: I would say, that we are on the same skill at the moment, also Av3k and Cypher. I can't say that one of us will for sure get top one. I think we all have the same chances and there will be very interesting games at this events.

Did you play with rapha a lot during the bootcamp?

Cooller: Not that much. We played against each other for a few times, but it wasn't really that much.

Can you descibre how your schedule looked like during the bootcamp?

Cooller: I played between 40 and 50 games a day, around nine hours playtime. I mostly woke up around 12, had breakfast and went to the office to play, play, play. Later in the evening we had dinner again and after that I played a few last games.

Did you have any special tactics, how to prepare for this event, like watching demos?

Cooller: Yeah, I watched all the DreamHack games and demos, because I think that demos can really help you ingame.

How can that help you improving your game?

Cooller: I just analyse my mistakes, especially versus strenx today, where I did a lot of mistakes. If I watch his PoV for example I can imagine how to react on his style and so on for the future games.

I saw your match versus strenx on ztn and I think that it shouldn't have been that close. What kind of mistake did you make, that strenx was able to come back?

Cooller: It was a fight at the mega health, which I won, but I was pretty low on healthpoints. I thought that he spawned at the PlasmaGun and Red Armor was available. So I went for the RailGun and looked for the shoot to hit him, when he jumps for the Armor. But he spawned at the shaft, went to Plasma and the Grenadelauncher. I wasted time, the Red Armor and the Yellow Armor, simply everything, because I couldn't hear the spawn.

How would you describe the tournament so far?

Cooller: I don't enjoy it yet, it's the first day and it depends on the results of course.

Let's talk about the DreamHack which you missed because of visa problems, which wasn't the first time for you. What went wrong this time?

Cooller: Well, they need like two weeks to fix the visa and I contacted them one week before DreamHack, which was impossible for them to fix the visa in time. I was trying to get all the papers for the visa, because you need so many things, like invitations and stuff. I was trying to get a multi visa for DreamHack, Cologne and Paris now. I was receiving many papers, but it simply took to long till I had all of them.

You are in the second group stage here now. What kind of opponents would fit most for you, that you go to the playoffs?

Cooller: I would like to have a group like me, Av3k, noctis and the second place of Cyphers group, maybe DaHang.

But you lost versus noctis in Dubai at the Global Challenge.

Cooller: Yeah, it was my first event in Quake Live.

You can beat him now?

Cooller: At the moment? For sure! He played okay versus k1llsen and is around the high skilled level.
